Welcome to the Sounds Like a Search and Rescue Podcast! Also known as SLASR. Join an experienced search and rescue volunteer and his friend as they discuss all things related to hiking and search and rescue in the White Mountains of New Hampshire.  This episode marks our first big deep dive into New hampshire's rock climbing scene, with one of the area's most respected climbers, Rusty Talbot. Rusty is a prolific outdoor recreationalist, cyclist, guide, SAR & adaptive sports volunteer and owner of the popular North Country Climbing gym in Littleton, NH. Rusty has been kind enough to join us, fresh off the Rumney Rocks, for a root and branch look at the exhilarating and challenging world of rock climbing.
